Canoe and Whisperboat
The Weerribben - Wieden National Park is a water area
It is unique to rent a canoe, whisper boat or sloop and experience the area optimally.
To help get you started, the ANWB and Staatsbosbeheer have set out 3 beautiful routes for you, which are;
- Ossenzijlroute (7km) This route brings you through the nortern part of the Weerribben
- Kalenbergroute (8km) This route brings you through the heart of the Weerribben
- Weerribbenroute (14km) This route brings you through almost the entire area
Rent a electric boat
One of the best ways to explore the beautiful nature area Weerribben - Wieden is by electric boat
From our recreation center you can sail through the entire Kop van Overijssel and / or part of Friesland. For example, you can go to Blokzijl, a beautiful historic city, and then sail through the village the Netherlands via the Roomsloot. Giethoorn, also known as the Venice of the North, is easy to do during a day sailing with an electric boat. Or towards Friesland, on the way to the Tjeukemeer. These waters are all easily accessible by boat. Reason enough to enjoy the Electric boat for a day! Renting a electric boat is possible from April 1st to October 31th.

Would you like to bring a waterproof barrel? This can be requested at the reception, a deposit of € 5,00 will be charged.
There is also the possibility to rent a life jacket. This can be arranged on site for a deposit of € 5,00.
